Farm Market Now Closed
Dear Friends and Family of Thatcher Farms
16 short years ago we opened our little farm to the public in order to share the amazing meats that we were growing on our family farm. And after 16 incredible and very successful years, we have made the decision to close our retail market. We have had such tremendous support and love from our very loyal customer base since its very beginning and we cannot thank you enough. We have made this very hard decision to close our doors this February, (date to be determined) and we are going to be focusing on our farm and our family. Opening our doors to the public has certainly been a labor of love that we have enjoyed, learned from, and made many lasting friendships. We will certainly miss this enterprise on our farm and seeing all our beautiful customers. But it is now time to focus our energies on our farm and our little family (that isn’t so little anymore). We hope that you will understand, and that Thatcher Farms will always hold a special place in your hearts. It has been such a privilege to serve you from our farm to your table. What an honor is has been to be a part of your weekly food menus, holidays and special events. It has meant the world to us and our family that you trusted us to feed you.
Some of our most treasured times together were family trips trucking livestock with all three babies in tow, weekly smokehouse runs combined with visits to the feed mill. Raising quality meats together as a family on our farm and being able to offer them direct to our customers was extremely rewarding process for us all. We will certainly be continuing farming as a family for many years to come, but it will just be a little different.
We are very excited to focus our energies on the farm, family and the country venue going forward. And hope that many of you will all keep in touch. Stay tuned for new adventures to come and exciting changes, as we settle into our new fam life together.
Love Adam, Dana, Sophie, WIlliam and Thomas Thatcher
